The build quality is impressive, it looks like a high quality material, having tested it on meat yet but connects to the phone easily

Looks good, doesn't work. The probe does not stay connected to the base while in the smoker even when the base is less than 1 ft away. The base loses connection to my phone in less than 5 ft. Save your money, go with something else.

Partially my fault as I could have taken more time but it’s not really meant to be good to go right out of the box as I takes some time to set up
