well designed product and worked well until its battery cannot be charged:-(.I asked question and got quite a few feedback from fellow netizens, all had similar problem but no solution.after a few tries, I found a possible workaround: instead of using the common USB charging block, I used a battery pack for jumpstarting car. it worked. it may be related with charging block's circuit which usually expects some residual voltage to start charging. Apparently, the car pack circuit does not have such a designed feature.
This little gadget actually works!It truly eliminates odors rather than masking them PLUS it helps keep food fresher for longer by inhibiting mold. Of course this only works for things not sealed off in their own containers. A zipped bag of cheese will not be helped, but a fruit or veggie bin that gets good circulation of air in the refrigerator will be helped. It is so nice to open a refrigerator door so the SMELL OF FRESH AIR rather than stale food odors!Its compact size is ideal for the fridge or any other small space needing deodorizing.$49 seems a bit pricey though. It would be nice to see these in multi-packs with a bulk discount (2, 3 or 6 pack, etc.). Also, I do wish the volume were adjustable on the low batter alarm. It is excessively LOUD and if you open your fridge late or early it will likely disturb others from sleep. Why be so loud when it has a visual indicator (light goes to red from green) plus you're only 2-3 feet from it when opening the refrigerator door.

I purchased this item in April of 2023. This past May, I noticed I was charging it more frequently. Now, I’m charging it every 3 days. It does work beautifully keeping my produce fresh for much, much longer. However, I’m not happy with the battery life, and it only started to diminish after the one year warranty!
